The P-Type ATPase Toolbox is a resource for researchers in the field of P-Type ATPases which aims to aid researchers by giving them access to easy-to-use, efficient and up-to-date computational tools for the prediction of the subtype of P-Type ATPase sequences.
The service is built and maintained by Dan Søndergaard at the Bioinformatics Research Centre (BiRC) at Aarhus University, Denmark, in collaboration with the Centre for Membrane Pumps in Cells and Disease, PUMPkin, at Aarhus University, Denmark.
We provide access to computational classification of P-Type ATPases via a simple but accurate method known as K-nearest neighbors. To classify a set of sequences one must only provide a FASTA file. We provide a confidence measure for each result to aid further data analysis.

We provide an annotated version of UniProtKB where each entry believed to be a P-Type ATPase has been classified to obtain a prediction of its subtype. The database provides easy and quick access to the UniProtKB entry, related sequences in our curated dataset, and confidence measures.
